When someone passes away we often feel helpless, we don't know what to do with ourselves. Prayer not only comforts the Soul uttering it, it lifts the departed Soul as well. When we gather together and offer song, Eulogy and fellowship, we are literally lifting the departed Soul to Heaven.
Jesus teaches us, when two or more are gathered in prayer, His comfort is there. When a service is given for a departed Soul, a room filled with people praying is a sacred, precious time. Any place where people come together to focus and pray becomes holy ground.
